Retinol sits alongside niacinamide, Bifida ferment lysate filtrate, squalane and hyaluronic acid: the serum hydrates, helps the complexion look more even and softens the look of fine lines, while sensitive skin is calmed. The same rules apply as with the original product – apply in the evening, build up slowly, keep the eye area out and use sun protection during the day. If you have already built up your tolerance, simply continue at your usual frequency. Helichrysum, agave and mulberry bark extract round out the formula. Spread a small amount over face and neck and work it in gently; the fluid texture absorbs without residue, so an emulsion or cream can follow straight on top. If your skin reacts sensitively for a while, it helps to reduce the frequency for a time rather than stopping altogether. If you also use a night cream with a vitamin A derivative, alternate the two rather than combining them. 30 ml lasts several months at two to three applications a week. Dermatologically tested.
